For NASCAR fans, who are looking for another NASCAR gaming option, a new game is coming later this year and it’s titled NASCAR Arcade Rush. Officially announced on Tuesday, the game will be produced by GameMill Entertainment, and the title will be made available for a plethora of gaming consoles including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch, as well as PC via Steam.

At first look, the game appears to look like a modern version of NASCAR: Rumble, but with a few interesting twists.

First off, if you’re hoping to play as your favorite real-world NASCAR driver, that doesn’t appear to be an option in this video game offering. That being said, the game appears to be more focused on building your own custom drivers and car paint schemes, accessories, and car attributes.

According to the press release, the game will feature vehicles that pay homage to the 75 years of NASCAR stock car racing history, and different horsepower levels over the years. You’ll be able to customize your car and driver suit to fit your own style, and rims, spoilers and other visual effects pertaining to the car will be editable as well.

The game will be loaded with some of NASCAR’s most legendary tracks — but not how you’ve ever seen them before. Instead of the general oval layouts of the tracks, the tracks in NASCAR Arcade Rush will feature unique reimagined fantasy tracks that have jaw-dropping twists, hair-raising turns, gravity-defying jumps, nitro boosts, and “other surprises” and each track also include breathtaking visual representations of the local areas where the real-world tracks are located.

Additionally, the game will be packed with single-player modes including the Career NASCAR Cup Series, Quick Race, and Time Attack. The game will also feature a head-to-head local multiplayer race mode as well as a 12-player online multiplayer option.

According to the announcement release, NASCAR Arcade Rush is available for preorder for $49.99 at most major retailers. The game will also have a digital-exclusive NASCAR Project-X Bundle available for the game, which will include the full base game as well as extra NASCAR Project-X playable content.
