After an over 10-year hiatus from the track, the ARCA Menards Series West heads to Washington state and Tri-City Raceway for the NAPA Auto Care 150.

The Series has held nine races in the past at a half-mile tri-oval raceway in West Richland, Washington. Former winners include Ray Elder, Jim Cook, Roy Smith, Dirk Stephens, and Jason Jefferson.

While several of the regulars are looking to take the trophy, one driver is looking to get back to his roots. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series champion Greg Biffle is set to return to the ARCA Menards Series West for the first time since 1996. For good reason too as he’s a former track champion at the speedway. He’s teaming up with Sigma Performance Services to pilot the No. 23 machine for Joe Farre.

Joining him are several of the West Series regulars looking to find success.

After finally getting his first win of the 2024 season, Tyler Reif and his No. 13 Central Coast Cabinets Toyota are looking to go back-to-back after a dominant race at Shasta Speedway. That win also takes him back into the driver’s points lead.

Now, five points back are reigning West Champion Sean Hingorani, coming off an eighth place at Elko driving for Venturini Motorsports, he’s back behind the wheel of the Jerry Pitts Racing No. 5 machine.

The only team with any experience at Tri-City is McAnally Racing, who ran the race back in 2003. However, both Jack Wood and Eric Johnson Jr. are looking to find success for the first time this season and get to victory lane.

Other notable entries for the 150-lap race include ARCA Menards Series regular Tim Goulet, Trevor Huddleston, Takuma Koga, Danica Dart, Jess Havens making their debut in the Jerry Pitts No. 6, and Nick Joanides among others.

You can catch the NAPA Auto Parts 150 live on FloRacing on Saturday, August 3 at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT.
