Sebastian Arias and BradyIFS will join forces with Rev Racing, who captured last season’s championship in the ARCA Menards Series, for select events in the ARCA Menards Series West.

The 24-year-old is currently scheduled to compete in a pair of ARCA Menards Series West events for Rev Racing, the series’ second road course event of 2023 at Sonoma Raceway. and the season-finale at Phoenix Raceway in November.

Despite only having two confirmed races for the upcoming season, Arias is hopeful that he will be able to secure additional starts in both the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

According to a team release, work is being done to secure an additional two opportunities with Rev Racing, as an additional sponsor is looking to support Arias as he climbs through the ranks of ARCA and NASCAR.

“This is the start of a great relationship with Rev Racing, and I want to thank Max Siegel for giving me this opportunity,” said Arias. “We are looking for more races in the main ARCA Menards Series this year, and possibly in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. I am blessed to be in this position, and I appreciate the work being done by Max [Siegel], Rev Racing, and my manager Ryan Johnston.”

Rev Racing, which over the years has primarily competed in the ARCA Menards Series, ventured into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2023 season, fielding the No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado for Nick Sanchez.

Over the last two decades years, Siegel and Rev Racing have made tremendous strides to increase diversity in racing by offering opportunities to women and minorities, including over 125 drivers, over 100 pit crew members, and more than 20 interns and young professionals.

“We are excited to offer Sebastian the opportunity and infrastructure to support his racing efforts in these ARCA Menards Series events,“ said Rev Racing owner Max Siegel. “We have proven success in the Series and welcome opportunities that align with our mission and goals as a championship-winning race team. As we have kicked off the start of the 2023 AMS season, we continue to be positioned for competitive excellence and look forward to successful outcomes with Sebastian.”

Arias’ debut with Rev Racing at Sonoma Raceway will mark the second time that the Bogota, Columbia-native has competed at the California road course. Last year, Arias started 13th, but was able to climb as high as fifth before getting into an accident.

Throughout his eight-race tenure in the ARCA Menards Series West, Arias picked up a pair of eighth-place finishes in both events at Irwindale Speedway. For 2023, the Columbian driver will look to secure additional top-10s in two races that traditionally have a high number of entries.
