While the ARCA Menards Series takes on the high banks of Salem Speedway on Saturday night, the ARCA Menards Series West has the late showing out in northern California for the Shasta 150 at Shasta Speedway.

This weekend’s Shasta 150 is the 16th time the series has hit the 0.375-mile oval in its history. Former winners include Scotty Cain in the inaugural race, Bill Schmidt, Jim Robinson, Derrike Cope, Rick Carelli, Chris Eggleston, and last year’s winner Sean Hingorani.

The Newport Beach, CA native will look to go back-to-back this weekend. Hingorani is back in the No. 5 machine for Jerry Pitts Racing after running and winning both Irwindale races with Venturini Motorsports. Now, he sits just three points ahead of second place.

Double Down, Sean Hingorani Goes Back To Back At Irwindale

Just those three points back is Tyler Reif in the No. 13 for Central Coast Racing. Through six races, he only has one finish outside the top five, and two poles to his name, yet he’s still looking to break into victory lane in 2024.

Just behind both of them, 31 points back in Jack Wood in the No. 16 for McAnally Racing. He’s coming off a season-best second at Irwindale, and he hopes to continue the momentum and help right the ship for him and his crew.

It’s been a little bit of a roller coaster year for Trevor Huddleston, and tough runs at Irwindale have put him fourth now in points, just four back of Wood, and 35 back of the leaders. Like Reif, he is also looking for his first win of the 2024 season.

Sigma Performance Services is continuing on with rookie Jaron Giannini who just made his debut at the double header at Irwindale. In two starts he’s got two top-10s and is looking to keep the heater going.

Other notables include Todd Souza, Takuma Koga, Kyle Keller, Robbie Kennealy, Eric Johnson Jr, and Nick Joanides among others.

You can catch the Shasta 150 live on FloRacing this Saturday night at 11:30 EST.
