Ty Gibbs dominated the majority of Sunday’s Menards 200 Presented by Crosley Brands, and looked to be in prime position to collect his sixth career ARCA Menards Series victory at Toledo Speedway.

However, on a lap 120 restart, Gibbs lost the lead to Sam Mayer – who went to victory lane in Friday Night’s event at Toledo Speedway — off of turn two.

Gibbs drove into turn three on the bottom of the – what appears to be damp — track, breaking loose underneath the No. 21 and spinning in turn four.

The 17-year-old’s spin marked the final caution of the event, as precipitation raided the area for the second day in a row, forcing ARCA Menards Series officials to end the race 127 laps into the 200-lapper.

The damage on the Monster Energy No. 18 was not critical, but Gibbs would be relegated to a tenth-place finish after dominating the majority of the event.
