A team member for the No. 2 Rev Racing team was very fortunate that the car didn’t land on him when it fell off jack stands during a race break adjustment Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Oh my goodness. Near disaster occurred during a race break in Thursday night’s ARCA Menards Series Bush’s Beans 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The No. 2 Rev Racing team had the car of ARCA Menards Series points leader Nick Sanchez on a jack stand and one of their crew members was under the car making adjustments under the rear of the car.

As the member was working on the car, the car shifted off the jack stand and fell to the ground.

Fortunately, the car landed just inches away from landing on the crew member.

Here is the scary scene:

You can see in the video, that a chunk of the rear bumper actually caught the team member’s firesuit and pulled it up as the car edged forward in the pit box.

This was nearly a very unfortunate situation, but thankfully the crew member was just far enough out of the way when the car landed.
