As the ARCA Menards Series heads to Kansas Speedway for the Tide 150, De Soto, KS. native, Mandy Chick, it means a little more.

“I am looking forward to returning to my home track and seeing a lot of local fans,” she said.

The 22-year-old grew up attending races at the 1.5-mile oval, but also had her share of success on the track with a ninth-place finish last season in her Chick Engineering No. 74 Chevrolet.

This weekend marks her return to the track in the ARCA Menards Series since the season opener at Daytona, where she was faced with bad luck and got caught up on a lap four crash, taking her out of contention for the race just a year prior in 2023, she pulled off a stunning top-five finish.

She’s been busy since the race, including wrapping up her term as the president of her Tri-Delta sorority chapter.

Now, as the series heads to her backyard, she is looking to rebound in a big way.

“Our team has worked hard on the car since our last Kansas race, and I feel confident I can follow up our solid finishes last year with an even stronger finish this weekend,” Chick said as she is also excited to have plenty of fans and family in the stands for the race.

Partnering with her on the car this weekend includes JRC, FK Rod Ends, Fragola Performance Systems, Dynamic Drivelines, Aero Race Wheels, Day Construction, and several others.

The hometown racer also brings special deals for fans. You can purchase discounted tickets for both the Tide 150 and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ Heart of America 200 for just 25 dollars here

She is also running a deal with long-time ARCA Menards Series partner Sprecher Brewing. Use the code “Chick15” for 15 percent off at their website, www.sprecherbrewery.com.
