ARCA Menards Series veteran Ed Pompa is back for his 19th season of action in the series, as he teams up with Fast Track Racing to pilot the No. 10 Ford Fusion in select events, beginning at Daytona International Speedway on February 15.

The Ballston Spa, New York-native will begin his ARCA Menards Series campaign at Daytona (February 15), and will compete in other events at Talladega (April 26), Lime Rock Park (June 28), Dover Motor Speedway (July 18), Watkins Glen International (August 8), and Salem Speedway (September 20).

Pompa’s lone ARCA Menards East Series race will be next month for the season-opening race at Five Flags Speedway on March 22 in Pensacola, Florida.

The 62-year-old Pompa has competed for Fast Track Racing part-time for a total of 85 ARCA Menards Series races since 2008. His career-best finish came at Salem Speedway in 2023 when he finished sixth. He also has contested in seven ARCA East races with his best finish coming in 2023 with an eighth-place run at Dover Motor Speedway.

“Can’t wait to get back to Daytona.” Said Pompa in a team press release. This will be my 11th race there, but lady luck hasn’t been easy on me over the years here. 10 races here so far, 5 races where I was running at the finish. Last year’s car (Tiger) was destroyed in the Lap 3 accident. Had been racing that chassis at Daytona, Dega, and Pocono for 5 years.”

“Andy (Hillenburg) and the Fast Track team have been fantastic to work with over the years. That’s why I keep coming back. I’ve got 4 Fast Track Racing teammates for Daytona, so hopefully we can all work together, survive, and bring home some great finishing positions.”

Pompa will race alongside Takuma Koga, who will pilot the No. 12 Toyota, and Cody Dennison, who recently signed to drive the No. 11 Chevrolet at Daytona. Koga is scheduled to compete in five races this season in the ARCA Menards Series with the organization.

Fast Track Racing has yet to announce plans for their No. 01 entry that competed with both newly signed Takuma Koga and Cody Dennison in the 2024 season. Matt Kemp also made a start in the No. 01 in 2024 with a 21st-place effort in the season-finale at Toledo Speedway.

The Chilli’s Ride The ‘Dente 200 at Daytona International Speedway will air live on FOX at Noon EST on Saturday, February 15.
