ARCA Menards Series points leader Corey Heim has been ranked in the runner-up position in the 2021 Speed 51 Short Track Draft.

The 18-year-old currently competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Venturini Motorsports, while contesting a two-race schedule for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

After winning at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway – his second and third victories in the ARCA Menards Series — the Marietta, Georgia-native leads the point standings by a significant margin over Venturini Motorsports teammate Drew Dollar.

In addition to a busy development schedule in ARCA and NASCAR, Heim will continue to return to his racing roots in 2021, competing in numerous marquee Late Model events across the United States. Heim has seen past success in the Super Late Model ranks, winning the first late model race of the year at the 2020 Speedfest event in Cordele, Georgia.

In his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Darlington Raceway, Heim worked his way up from a 13th-place starting position into the top-five in the race’s final stage, getting as high as the runner-up position before being taken out in a massive accident on a late-race restart.

The only other NCWTS start planned for Heim this season will come in October at Martinsville, where the 18-year-old scored a runner-up finish in the 2018 Martinsville 300, in a controversial finish.

As for Heim’s journey in the ARCA Menards Series, the 18-year-old will head to Toledo Speedway on May 22nd for the fifth race of the season, before rounding out the month at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
