As part of three ARCA Menards Series events scheduled to take place in the month of February, the 2021 ARCA Menards Series East season will start with a pair of events in the southern state of Florida.

The ARCA Menards Series East season will begin Monday, Feb. 8 at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with a 175-lap feature event that will headline that night’s World Series of Asphalt Racing activities.

Three weeks later, the series will close the month of February with a 200-lap event at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. – home of the Snowball Derby — That event will take place on Saturday, February 27th.

Both races will be streamed live on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.

The ARCA East event at New Smyrna Speedway will kick-off a week-long stretch of ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR National Series events, culminating in the 63rd Annual DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, February 14th.

In 2020, Sam Mayer – the eventual ARCA Menards Series East champion — won both the season-opener at New Smyrna Speedway and the finale at 5 Flags Speedway, en-route to his second consecutive East Series championship – and his first under the ARCA sanction. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Florda tracks were scheduled to host the first two events of the 2020 season.

Only Jack Wood – driving the No. 21 Chevrolet for GMS Racing — has been announced to compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East in 2021. Logan Misuraca has already anounced her intentions to participate in the season-opening event at New Smyrna Speedway.
