ARCA has announced multiple penalties, including a suspension and fine of team owner Billy Venturini and fine of driver Jesse Love Jr., following a rash of altercations in the ARCA Menards Series finale at Toledo Speedway.

Almost a week after the ARCA Menards Series Finale at Toledo Speedway, series officials announced several penalties and fines.

Venturini Motorsports team owner Billy Venturini was fined $1,500 and has been suspended for one race. Driver Jesse Love Jr. and crew member Kurt Smith were also fined $500. All three parties are also under probation through April 1st, 2023, by ARCA.

The penalties come after several altercations involving members of the No. 20 Venturini Motorsports team after late-race contact involving the No. 18 Kyle Busch Motorsports car and its driver Sammy Smith.

While ARCA did not give specifics of what led to the penalties, here is video of Venturini in a post-race scuffle at Toledo Speedway, which was posted to Twitter by @The_Mini_Cone:

Love and the No. 20 Venturini team came home second in the season finale in Toledo after late-race contact from Smith. The contact from Smith also cost Venturini the 2022 ARCA Menards Series Owner’s Championship, giving the victory to the No. 18 KBM team by just three points.
