Wayne Peterson Racing has announced that AM Manufacturing Company will sponsor Brayton Laster in the ARCA Menards Series season-opening Ride The ‘Dente 200 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15.

Laster will pilot the No. 0 Chevrolet at Daytona, before switching to the No. 06 for the remainder of the ARCA Menards Series campaign.

A native of Greenwood, Indiana, Laster has been competing in the ARCA Menards Series since 2022. He got his break in the series with Mullins Racing at Daytona, where he finished 13th in his debut in the ARCA Menards Series. To date, Laster has made a total of 16 starts in the ARCA Menards Series, along with five combined starts in the ARCA East and West Series for a plethora of different teams. Additionally, he has one career start in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, which took place on the dirt at Knoxville Raceway in 2022 for Reaume Bros Racing.

On October 30, 2024, it was announced that “The Pizza Man” Laster will drive full-time for his rookie campaign Wayne Peterson Racing in the ARCA Menards Series in 2025.

“AM Manufacturing is excited to announce its sponsorship of NASCAR driver Brayton Laster for the upcoming “Ride the ‘Dente 200″ at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 15th,” said Greg Johnson, sales and marketing manager for AM Manufacturing “With a field of top drivers from various motorsports, including Indy 500 champions Helio Castroneves and Katherine Legge, AM Manufacturing is proud to support “The Pizza Man” Brayton Laster in this thrilling event. As a company dedicated to excellence and showcasing its commitment to motorsports at one of the most iconic tracks in the world.”

The 22-year-old will serve as a teammate to Bryce Haugeberg, who will pilot the No. 06 entry at Daytona on February 15.

AM Manufacturing specializes in production line technology for dough machines, particularly for pizza dough, bagels, tortilla shells, and more. Ironically, the sponsor lines up Laster’s nickname, “The Pizza Man,” which was given to him because of his love for pizza. He even wears a pepperoni pizza-themed helmet at every race he competes in.

Aside from the partnership, it is undetermined who will compete in the No. 0 Chevrolet entry after Daytona. Last season, the team had three different drivers pilot the car for a total of five races in the 2024 season with Nate Moeller in the seat for three events, followed by one-off races from Ben Peterson and Con Nicolopoulos.

The Chilli’s Ride The ‘Dente 200 at Daytona International Speedway will air live on FOX at Noon EST on Saturday, February 15.
