Keith McGee will officially pilot the No. 27 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway as he attempts to make the field for the season-opening event on February 16.

The 42-year-old racer will carry primary sponsorship in the event from his longtime partner More Core.

The team announced McGee’s six-race 2024 schedule back in November but had yet to reveal the truck number for McGee until Tuesday.

The driver also showed off a render of the paint scheme that he will pilot at Daytona.

McGee will serve as the teammate to Lawless Alan, who will run the full 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign in the team’s No. 33 truck. The Reaume Brothers Racing team will also field the No. 22 Ford F-150 entry at Daytona. The driver of the No. 22 entry has yet to be announced.

The Reaume Brothers Racing team has made significant changes to its organization ahead of the 2024 campaign.

The organization acquired owner points from Hattori Racing Enterprises, AM Racing, and On Point Motorsports this offseason, and they have acquired trucks from the AM Racing inventory ahead of the upcoming season. Also, the team could potentially have some sort of an alliance with Front Row Motorsports, according to an interview with Dylan Cappello on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio’s Skinner Round-Up in December.

McGee, a native of Alaska and Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, has a career-best finish of 10th in 11 career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts. Since his last start at Charlotte Motor Speedway last May, McGee has taken on a job as a tow truck driver in Alaska.

On January 26, McGee was dispatched to the scene of a 30-plus vehicle crash on the highway. McGee shared photos of the scene that he helped clear on his Facebook account.

McGee will look to avoid the certain similar carnage that will inevitably ensue during Speedweeks at Daytona, as he attempts to secure his place in the field for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opening event.
