Reaume Brothers Racing is looking to make noise during the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season and the race team has acquired some solid footing, owner points-wise, to start the season off.

Team owner Josh Reaume confirmed to TobyChristie.com that his race team has picked up the 2023 owner points from the No. 16 Hattori Racing Enterprises team, the No. 22 AM Racing team, and the No. 30 On Point Motorsports team.

The No. 16 team ranked 19th in the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series owner standings while the No. 22 was 30th and the No. 30 was 31st.

Due to all three sets of points being inside the top 31, all three Reaume trucks would make the field for the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway if qualifying were to be rained out.

Reaume Brothers Racing also still possesses the No. 33 owner points from 2023, which ranked 37th, but the team only plans to field three trucks at Daytona International Speedway at this time.

According to Reaume, the team will field the No. 33 truck and the No. 22 truck and is waiting for approval from NASCAR on the number of the third truck in the stable.

Reaume Brothers Racing will have Lawless Alan in its No. 33 entry full-time in 2024, while Keith McGee will run Daytona and at least five other races with sponsor More Core. The third driver for the Reaume team at Daytona is still to be announced.

Along with the announcement of the addition of Alan as the driver of the team’s No. 33 truck, Reaume Brothers Racing announced the addition of Trip Bruce as the team’s competition director on January 14.

In addition to the owner points acquisitions, Reaume says the team has also acquired, “several,” Ford F-150 chassis from AM Racing’s inventory.

Additionally, the team may have an alliance of some sort with Front Row Motorsports according to an interview with Front Row’s Truck Series crew chief Dylan Cappello last month on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio’s Skinner Round-Up.

“We’re working with, there’s a possibility with working with Josh Reaume and sharing some information with him and having him help out our program a little bit, and we help out his program,” Cappello said in the December 17th interview. “There’s always little alliances like that that make the truck series good.

Reaume Brothers Racing moved to Ford ahead of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season and seemed poised for a banner year for the organization. However, a fire at the team’s race shop, which injured three members of the team just weeks before the season-opening event, killed any chance the team had of a solid showing last year.

The team is back with a vengeance in 2024 and is making moves, which should produce the capability of having the best season in RBR’s team history.

*Editor’s Note: TobyChristie.com reached out to Hattori Racing Enterprises about RBR’s acquisition of the No. 16 team’s owner points, but have not received a response at the time of this story being published.
