Rise Motorsports Announces Plans For Daytona Test, ARCA Season Opener

While most everyone is focused on the holiday season, several teams are working on their plans for 2024 and the upcoming ARCA Menards Series test at Daytona International Speedway, and Rise Motorsports officially announced their plans for the start of the season.

In a Facebook and X post on Monday, they confirmed that the team’s No. 31 Chevy will be heading down to the superspeedway for the two-day test on January 11th and 12th. Both team owners, Tim and Rita Goulet, will be testing the car that weekend.

They also announced that they plan for the car to be running in the ARCA Menards Series season opener at Daytona on February 17th.

In the team’s first season in 2023, they earned three top ten’s with Brayton Laster in the car. Tim Goulet’s best finish was a 12th at Michigan in the summer, with Rita’s best of a 14th coming at Berlin.

“We started this team last year with the goal of learning from each race we were in and getting better as a team. Overall, I feel we accomplished that goal during the 2023 season,” Tim Goulet said.

“I’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the #31 Chevrolet at Daytona and showing what Rise Motorsports can do,” he added.

The Milwaukee native added that they are working hard to get approval for the superspeedway races heading into the season.

“The next step for us as a team is to get approved to run the superspeedways. ARCA approval to run Daytona and Talladega will be a massive step forward for Rise Motorsports as we go into 2024, and we couldn’t do it without the support from Back The Lane and the National Police Association.”

Rise Motorsports are looking for sponsorship for the upcoming test and season opener. If you want to help the team, you can contact them at RiseMotorsports.com or email them at marketing@risemotorsports.com
