ORIGINAL STORY: Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:57 AM ET

Ben Rhodes is a two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion after he finished fifth just ahead of Grant Enfinger in Friday night’s Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway. While Rhodes came home in fifth, it was Christian Eckes who won the event.

Following post-race tear down inspection, NASCAR found no issues through the field.

Eckes and his No. 19 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing team will be the official winners of the race, marking the fourth win of the season for the group, pending post-race engine teardown which is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Rhodes will also officially be named the series champion so long as the post-race engine teardown comes back clean.

Grant Enfinger finished runner-up in the championship standings, Corey Heim was third, and Carson Hocevar finished fourth in the standings.

Jake Garcia made it a 1-2 sweep for the McAnally-Hilgemann team as he finished second. Chase Purdy, and Jesse Love rounded out the four finishers ahead of Rhodes in the final running order.
