There are 36 cars [for 40 spots] on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway, the 30th race of the season and the fourth of the NASCAR Playoffs.

Making up the entry list for Sunday’s 400-mile contest from Fort Worth, Texas are the 36 teams that are in possession of a NASCAR Cup Series charter – which guarantees the holder of each charter a position in every race throughout the season.

Denny Hamlin, the most recent winner in the NASCAR Cup Series at Bristol, is among those entered in Sunday’s event, as he chases his first-ever title at NASCAR’s top level. Hamlin will drive the No. 11 FedEx Toyota Camry TRD for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Zane Smith, who will drive a third entry for Spire Motorsports in 2024 via a multi-year driver deal with Trackhouse, will drive the No. 38 Ambetter Health Ford Mustang, in his second-to-last Cup start with Front Row Motorsports in 2023.

Todd Gilliland, the anchor driver of the No. 38 this season, will jump over to Rick Ware Racing for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Texas Motor Speedway, where he’ll drive the No. 51 Ford Mustang.

Gilliland will be joined by JJ Yeley in the Rick Ware Racing stables on Sunday, as he is scheduled to pilot the No. 15 Ford Mustang in the 400-mile contest from the tricky 1.5-mile facility.

Carson Hocevar, a regular in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has added Sunday’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 to his NASCAR Cup Series schedule with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, driving the No. 42 Chevrolet.

Another notable on the entry list for Sunday’s event is BJ McLeod, who will drive the No. 78 Gunk Chevrolet Camaro for Live Fast Motorsports.
