Another day, another announcement regarding the Camping World SRX Racing Series, which kicks off its six-race 2023 schedule in a couple of weeks.

On Wednesday, SRX announced a new partnership with JEGS Performance, which will see the brand become an official SRX Series Sponsor. Additionally, as part of the partnership, JEGS will adorn Kenny Wallace’s SRX car in the August 17th season finale at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.

For JEGS, this gives them a chance to be a part of the special ESPN Thursday Night Thunder retro throwback, which will be tied to the Camping World SRX Racing Series in 2023.

“JEGS is very excited to announce this year’s sponsorship with SRX on Kenny Wallace race car when he drives in the series finale at Lucas Oil Speedway,” said Gabe Mendoza, Chief Executive Officer of JEGS. “This exposure of JEGS parts brand in racing will be yet another test of how well the fans respond whether they’re attending the event live or watching Thursday Night Thunder live on ESPN.”

The Series, which had been carried on Saturday nights by CBS Sports since its inception, has moved to Thursday nights at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN for this season.

Wallace is very familiar with the folks at JEGS, as he has partnered with them on the track, and more recently on his YouTube channel, for years. SRX Racing is elated to bring another high-profile brand to the table.

“It’s my pleasure to welcome JEGS to SRX as an official sponsor for 2023, joining us for the finale with Kenny Wallace at the wheel,” said SRX Chief Executive Officer, Don Hawk. “When I think about JEGS, words like reliability and speed come to mind. Kenny and JEGS have been a fantastic duo with Kenny’s YouTube channel, and we are thrilled to have them on board for this summer.”

For Wallace, who is one of the funniest characters in the history of racing, always takes great pride in any on-track partnership that he is able to procure.

“I sure am honored to have the famous JEGS logo on the SRX car. The black and yellow logo is so legendary in racing around America – it’s going to be a great night when I get to drive it and represent JEGS on August 17th at Lucas Oil Speedway,” Wallace said.

The Camping World SRX Racing Series will be available for six-consecutive Thursday nights this year beginning with Thursday, July 13th. That event will take place at Stafford Motor Speedway.

From there, the SRX Series will move to Thunder Road SpeedBowl, Motor Mile Speedway, Berlin Raceway, Eldora Speedway and the season will close out at Lucas Oil Speedway on August 17th.
