Inspection Complete: Christopher Bell Officially Collects Food City Dirt Race Victory at Bristol

After eight NASCAR Cup Series events in 2023, Christopher Bell is the first driver to score a victory for Joe Gibbs Racing, officially scoring the victory in Sunday’s Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Bell, driving the No. 20 DeWalt Powerstack Toyota Camry TRD, was officially named the winner of the third annual event on the half-mile dirt track at Bristol Motor Speedway, after passing post-race technical inspection.

The victory is the fifth in the NASCAR Cup Series for the native of Norman, Oklahoma, and the first on the dirt at NASCAR’s top level. The victory also marked back-to-back years that the Toyota-backed team won the Food City Dirt Race.

Tyler Reddick, Austin Dillon, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., and Chase Briscoe will all retain their positions inside the top five, as all results and point standings provided by the sanctioning body are now deemed official.
