It goes without saying that there has been no love lost between Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain over the past 12 months. In Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, the two drivers found each other once again.
On Lap 74, Hamlin was attempting to work his way back up through the field after being nudged from the lead by Bubba Wallace on lap 43, when Chastain made contact with the rear of Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota.
The contact was enough to send Hamlin spinning from 12th position.
Here is video of the latest incident between Hamlin and Chastain:

While Chastain now sits 12th, Hamlin, his bitter rival, now finds himself all the way back in 22nd as the race has reached the half-way break.
Can Hamlin work his way back up through the field? And if so, will he exact revenge? We’ll find out soon.
