Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been completed.

Joey Logano’s race-winning No. 22 Pennzoil Team Penske Ford Mustang has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Logano and his team the official winners of the race.

This win, Logano’s third of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, has locked him into the Championship 4 field for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.

Logano has now made the Championship 4 five times (2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022) in his career

This race also marks Logano’s 30th career win in the NASCAR Cup Series and it is his third NCS victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following the 2022 South Point 400 are now considered official.

Both the No. 23 – driven by Ty Gibbs – and the No. 99 – driven by Daniel Suarez – will go back to NASCAR’s R&D Center for a teardown inspection.

Ross Chastain (Playoff contender) is the official second-place finisher, while Kyle Busch, Chase Briscoe (Playoff contender), and Denny Hamlin (Playoff contender) rounded out the top-five finishers in the race.

The remaining Playoff drivers in the field and their finishes were William Byron (13th), Chase Elliott (21st), Ryan Blaney (28th), and Christopher Bell (34th).

Kyle Larson, who is no longer eligible for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series driver championship still finds himself inside the NASCAR Cup Series owner championship battle with his No. 5 car. Larson finished 35th in Sunday’s race.
