UPDATE #2 – 11:35 AM / ET: Halmar Friesen Racing has confirmed to TobyChristie.com that Bubba Wallace will be practicing and qualifying the No. 52 Halmar International Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Halmar Friesen Racing.

Should Friesen make it to Kansas Speedway in time for Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event, he will have to start at the rear of the field for the event.


UPDATE #1 – 10:45 am / ET: Bubba Wallace – a full-time driver in the NASCAR Cup Series — will replace Stewart Friesen in practice and qualify for Saturday’s Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, according to Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports.

Friesen is currently en-route to Kansas Speedway but isn’t expected to make it to the facility in time for practice and qualifying.


It looks as though Stewart Friesen – driver of the No. 52 Halmar International Toyota Tundra TRD Pro — will miss at least practice and qualifying for Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway.

Early on Saturday – at 1:10 AM / ET — the 38-year-old took to Twitter to explain his current predicament, stating that his flight from New York to Kansas was delayed six different times before it was canceled.

Friesen further said that he’d likely miss practice and qualifying for Saturday’s event, but should be in Kansas in time to take the green flag in the eighth race of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.

The Niagara-on-the-Lake-native is currently fifth in series standings after seven races, recording one top-five and three top-10 finishes, with a season-best of third at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

TobyChristie.com has attempted to reach out to Halmar Friesen Racing in pursuit of additional details regarding the matter, but has yet to receive a response at the time of publishing.
