Caesar Bacarella will officially pilot the No. 45 Lilly Finance Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

In addition to their partnership at Daytona, Lilly Finance will also partner with Bacarella in select NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2022 as well as in his ventures in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series.

“I’m super excited about Lilly being a part of our team. Lilly has an amazing story; both the token and Lilly herself,” said Bacarella, driver and Co-owner of Alpha Prime Racing. “I can’t wait to help promote their plans to join with world renown medical partners, The American Veterans Center, and all of the other charity work they will be doing this year.”

NASCAR has confirmed to TobyChristie.com that Bacarella, who had been on suspension since November 22nd for a substance abuse violation, has officially been reinstated by the sanctioning body and is eligible to run starting at Daytona.

Bacarella, 45, has made 21-career starts in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition over the last five seasons. Bacarella’s career-best finish, to date, is a 12th-place finish at Daytona International Speedway in the season-opener last year.
