Zane Smith, who has been inside the Championship 4 battle in each of the last two years in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, will look to seal the deal in 2022. The 22-year old driver will have longtime Front Row Motorsports partner Speedco as the primary sponsor on the No. 38 Ford F-150 in eight races this season.

Smith says it’s cool to now race a truck that he was battling neck and neck for race wins a season ago.

“I raced against the Speedco truck for much of last season,” said Smith in a team release. “It’s cool to be in their truck this season and compete for wins and the championship. The support from Speedco has made the Front Row Motorsports truck program one of the best in the series. It’s impressive to see the success they’ve had, and I want to continue that. I’m thankful they are back with us, and I want to have a great year for them.”

For Speedco, they’re been amazed at how competitive Front Row Motorsports has made their truck series program in such a short period of time.

“We’ve been impressed with the truck program that Front Row Motorsports has put together in a brief time,” said Dave Frankenfield, Vice President of Marketing, Speedco. “Our customers love the truck series and Todd made it exciting for us the past two seasons. Now, with Zane coming over, we are just as excited about this upcoming season. He’s a proven winner and we want to support him and the team as they vie for the championship.”

Speedco’s first primary sponsorship on the No. 38 truck will be the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

Here is the full primary sponsorship schedule for Speedco:

  • February 18, Daytona International Speedway
  • March 26, Circuit of the Americas
  • April 16, Bristol Dirt Race
  • May 14, Kansas Speedway
  • June 24, Nashville Superspeedway
  • September 15, Bristol Motor Speedway
  • October 1, Talladega Superspeedway
  • October 22, Homestead-Miami Speedway

Smith, a native of California, has scored three wins over the last two seasons in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition. In 46-career starts in the series, Smith has recorded 11 top-five finishes and 28 top-10s.
