PC: Tanner Reif will compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West for Sunrise Ford Racing.

Tanner Reif, the 2021 Pro Late Model champion at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Bullring, will join Bob Bruncati and Sunrise Ford Racing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West this season, piloting the No. 9 Ford Fusion.

The Las Vegas, Nevada-native will compete in the full 11-race schedule for the ARCA Menards Series West, which begins and ends at the one-mile Phoenix Raceway. Jake Drew will return to the team in 2022 as a teammate to Reif.

“I’m really excited about racing and learning a new car with a new team,” Reif said. “My expectations for the year are to take it all in, learn as much as I can, and bring home Rookie of the Year.”

Reif joins three-time ARCA West championship-winning organization Sunrise Ford Racing, whose last title in the series came with Derek Thorn in 2018. Last season, Jake Drew lost out on the title because of a tiebreaker, with Jesse Love edging out his second consecutive championship.

“I’m really looking forward to racing Phoenix because it’ll be the first one-mile track I’ve been on,” Reif said. “Growing up I used to watched Sonoma on TV and now I’m actually racing on it. It’s crazy! I’m living the dream.”

The 2022 ARCA Menards Series West season-opener will be a combination race with the ARCA Menards Series, taking place on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 pm / ET, with the event broadcasted live on both MAVTV and FloRacing.
