ARCA Menards Series championship contender, Corey Heim, will be running double-duty in this weekend’s events at Watkins Glen International, where he will compete in Friday’s Clean Harbors 100 for the ARCA Menards Series, as well as Saturday’s United Rentals 176 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, according to NASCAR’s Team Roster Portal.

The 19-year-old will return to the No. 51 Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the event, adding a third event to his part-time schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which was originally announced to be two races at Darlington and Martinsville.

Without the additional aid of practice and/or qualifying, Heim contested his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Darlington Raceway in May, recording an undeserved 23rd-place result after being involved in a massive accident on a late-race restart, which saw the No. 51 JBL Toyota Tundra swept to the inside of the track from the front row.

As the Marietta, Georgia-native approaches the weekend at the tricky 2.45-mile road course, the focus is on the points margin in the ARCA Menards Series, where he sits seven markers behind Joe Gibbs Racing’s Ty Gibbs with only seven events to go.
