Katherine Legge, who competed in seven NASCAR Cup Series races a season ago, is set to make her first start of the 2026 season this weekend in the Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International.

The 45-year-old racer, who will once again compete in the Indianapolis 500 later this month, will pilot the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Chevrolet for her return to the NASCAR garage this weekend. Serving as the primary sponsor for Legge will be longtime partner e.l.f. cosmetics, which will adorn the No. 78 Chevrolet with a white, pink, and red paint scheme.

The native of Guildford, Surrey, England, made her NASCAR Cup Series debut at Phoenix Raceway a season ago, a race where she would finish 30th after suffering an early spin and later a race-ending crash on Lap 210. While that race ended in disappointment, it would be the only DNF for Legge during her seven-race NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2025.

As the season dragged on, Legge got more and more comfortable with the Next Gen car that is utilized in the NASCAR Cup Series, and she even had a couple of eyebrow-raising runs down the stretch.

Legge scored her first career top-20 finish with a solid 19th-place effort in the Chicago Street Course event. Despite being a go-or-go-homer that weekend, Legge was able to out-qualify blue-chip prospect Corey Heim for a starting spot in the field.

Later that month, Legge would nab her career-best finish of 17th at a track that she knows very, very well. After starting from the 38th position in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Legge was able to methodically climb her way through the field in the 168-lap event, and by the time the checkered flag was displayed, she had made it to 17th place and ended the race comfortably on the lead lap.

As Legge embarks upon the race this weekend at Watkins Glen International, she does so with confidence, as Watkins Glen was a track where she claimed victory in 2017, driving in the GTD class during the Six Hours of The Glen, an event in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

After this weekend’s race, Legge’s focus will shift to the Indianapolis 500, where she’ll pilot the No. 11 e.l.f. Cosmetics Chevrolet for A.J. Foyt Racing.
