The Pocono Doubleheader this upcoming weekend will feature a brand new partner for Front Row Motorsports and driver Michael McDowell.

Horizon Hobby, a global leader in RC products and accessories, will join the 2021 Daytona 500 for a three-race partnership starting in at Pocono Raceway this weekend. The company will showcase its ARRMA RC car brand for its debut with Front Row.

“This has been a great season for everyone at Front Row Motorsports and what we’re hoping to continue to build,” said McDowell. ‘We now have the final piece of the puzzle with Horizon Hobby, a great new partner for our team, to help us make our summer push before the NASCAR Playoffs.”

The partnership will utilize McDowell for the promotion of its products via social media and digital assets. The three-race deal officially sells out McDowell’s sponsorship slate for 2021.

The paint scheme takes design cues from the 1/7 FELONY 6S BLX Street Bas All-Road Muscle RC Car from the company. The powerful remote-control cars can reach speeds of 80 miles per hour. The scheme will also appear at Loudon later this season.

“The ARRMA brand is defined by speed,” said Jason Dearden, Founder, ARRMA. “We’re honored to join with Horizon Hobby to support Front Row Motorsports and Michael McDowell at the Pocono doubleheader. We can’t wait to see the car on the track.”

The No. 34 team at Front Row is seeing a banner year, with five top 10 finishes including a win at the Daytona 500. The No. 34 will make their second playoff appearance in six years.

“We are ecstatic to partner with Front Row Motorsports and Michael McDowell this season,” said Chris Dickerson, Chief Executive Officer, Horizon Hobby. “We know many of our customers enjoy the thrill of speed in many shapes and forms. Michael can reach a lot of new fans who may be ready to try our products and we’re excited to see him use our products the rest of the year.”

Fans can see the No. 34 ARRMA RC Mustang on Saturday, June 26th at 3:00 PM EST on NBCSN.
