Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 253 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course has been completed.

Christopher Bell’s race-winning No. 20 Rheem Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared the 26-year old as the official winner of the race. This officially mark’s Bell’s first-career NASCAR Cup Series victory, marking the second consecutive week that the winner of the NCS event was a first time winner.

Michael McDowell won his first-career race last weekend in the Daytona 500.

The only issues discovered in post-race inspection were an unsecured lug nut on Bell’s No. 20 car and Brad Keselowski’s No. 2 car. Those infractions will result only in monetary fines for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means that all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.
