Kris Wright will hit the ground running in his rookie NASCAR Camping World Truck Series campaign, thanks in part to being paired with veteran crew chief Eddie Troconis. Young’s Motorsports officially announced the driver / crew chief pairing on Tuesday morning.

For Troconis, it’s is the comfortability with the Young family that makes this opportunity special.

“I’m happy to be at Young’s Motorsports this season,” said Troconis in a team release. “I’ve known Tyler (Young) for several years, having the opportunity to interact with him at the race track and I’ve always admired his work ethic to keep Young’s Motorsports a competitive and successful NASCAR Camping World Truck Series operation.”

Wright, 26, ran the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at the Daytona Road Course last season, but it’ll take a different mindset to be successful in the season-opening event at the Daytona International Speedway oval.

Troconis believes the team will survive the inevitable chaos and begin building the momentum for their 2021 season.

“I am looking forward to getting to Daytona with Kris (Wright) next weekend and getting our season started off with some momentum, not only for our No. 02 team, but the other two teams too.”

Additionally, Young’s Motorsports announced that Ryan “Pickle” London, who will serve as the No. 12 Young’s Motorsports crew chief for Tate Fogleman in the Truck Series, will also serve as the crew chief to Toni Breidinger in the Young’s Motorsports ARCA Menards Series entry.
