Ryan Blaney and Brad Keselowski Crash Hard Battling for Lead at Michigan

Team Penske teammates Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney have crashed incredibly hard in turn two at Michigan International Speedway while battling for the race lead.

The wreck happened when Keselowski’s No. 2 got loose on the inside line trying to take the lead from teammate Ryan Blaney, skidding up the track and into Blaney’s Menards Ford Mustang.

Additional contact was made between stage one winner Clint Bowyer and Alex Bowman that required Bowman’s No. 88 to come on pit road, while Bowyer stayed on the race track and would restart 13th.

Both Keselowski and Blaney were unable to continue in the race, and would finish in 37th and 38th in the second leg of the Michigan doubleheader.
