Richard Childress Racing announced Friday that longtime partner KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) would be entering their fourth consecutive year as a primary partner of the team’s NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series efforts, beginning at Daytona’s Road Course in August.

Earl Bamber will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on August 15th, when the NASCAR Xfinity Series runs their first ever race on the Daytona International Speedway Road Course. Bamber will drive the No. 21 KCMG Chevrolet Camaro in the event, the car typically shared by NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie drivers Myatt Snider and Anthony Alfredo, as well as third-year driver Kaz Grala.

“I’ve dreamed about competing in NASCAR my entire life, so I am so thankful to Richard Childress, KCMG and everyone who has played a role in creating this opportunity for me,” said Bamber. “I know that RCR has a storied history of cultivating talent and will give me all of the tools I need to succeed. I’m looking forward to the race.”

The Wanganui, New Zealand-native Bamber – a two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans Champion in 2015 and 2017 — has competed on Daytona International Speeway’s Road Course a total of seven times, earning four podium finishes in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Series.

In addition to being the primary sponsor on Bamber’s No. 21 at Daytona, the company will also sponsor Tyler Reddick’s No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series, at an event to be determined at a later date.

“Richard Childress Racing is a first-class operation that has provided a valuable channel for expanding our presence in the United States, particularly as it relates to stock car racing applications,” said Founder of KC Motorgroup, Dr. Paul Ip. “KC Motorgroup has experienced success on a global level, and we’re proud to continue our winning tradition with Richard Childress Racing and Tyler Reddick, as well as looking forward to working with Earl Bamber this season.”
