Wow. What a finish in Sunday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Pocono Organics 150. Going into the final lap, Sheldon Creed, who won Stages 1 and 2, split Brandon Jones and Austin Hill in the middle to take the lead in a dramatic three-wide pass.

It looked like Creed would go on to win for the first time in his Truck Series career, but Jones did not let off the gas.

Jones stayed alongside Creed all through the final lap, and as Creed got loose on the low side in turn three, it gave Jones the momentum he needed to win the race.

This is Jones’ first-career Truck Series win.

Hill eked past Creed for second at the line.

Todd Gilliland and Ben Rhodes finished fourth and fifth.

Ross Chastain, Brett Moffitt, Stewart Friesen, Tyler Ankrum and Derek Kraus rounded out the top-10 finishers on Sunday.

The race, which featured two red flag stoppages, was mired by accidents. In all, there were 11 cautions in the 60-lap event, eight for crashes or spins.

Creed led a race-high 30 laps. Six different drivers took the top spot during the event.
