What The Ruch!? NGROTS Driver Angela Ruch & Husband Mike Make Unique Offer to Kyle Busch “Bounty Hunters”

One of the biggest stories over the last couple of weeks in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, has been the “Bounty” that Kevin Harvick and Marcus Lemonis put forward for any full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver that can beat Kyle Busch in one of his four remaining Truck Series starts for 2020.

Since then, multiple other “Bounty” offers have come forward from various people, like when Chris Larsen offered a $50,000 “Bounty” to any Truck Series regular that could defeat Kyle Busch at the series’ next race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

On Sunday, NGROTS Driver Angela Ruch (Driver of the No. 00 for Reaume Brothers Racing) and her husband Mike Ruch, made thier own extension of the “Bounty”, stating that he will pay a $50,000 “Bounty” to any NASCAR Cup Series driver if they can beat Angela Ruch racing a top-tier truck.

A couple hours later, wife Angela chimed in, not only agreeing to this “Bounty”, but also raising the stakes and offering an additional $50,000 of her own money to make it a whopping $100,000 bounty.

Throughout Sunday evening, the aftermath from this challenge became quite intense and quickly drew attention from many people on social media, earning mixed responses from several members of NASCAR’s Twitter Community. At this moment it seems that there have been no legitimate inquiries to take the Ruch’s up on this challenge at the moment (TobyChristie.com will continue to follow the story as it develops).

No matter the response, both Mike and Angela Ruch have proven that they are not afraid to defend themselves on social media, and clap back toward the people doubting the ability of Angela, or the legitimacy of the promises made.

Here are some of the most popular clap-backs from Mike and Angela:

Twitter user @RowdyFuller51 posed the question: Why not just take the $100,000 and put it toward a top-tier ride for Anglea for a race? Angela responded, saying she’d love to see what a top-tier Cup driver could accomplish in her inferior No. 00 truck.

After this, another Twitter user @LemWansleyIII implied that Ruch hasn’t been able to achieve what Natalie Decker (who has faced scrutiny) has. Ruch shut this user down as well.

Mike then had to defend his decision to put up his own $50,000.

This is where things get interesting… Twitter user @roidwards stated that he hopes that Kyle Busch allows Ruch to run a KBM truck so Mike can lose his money. Mike quips back, that they had a deal in place to run a KBM truck in place in 2019, before Busch’s wife Samantha vetoed the deal.

Then, Mike Ruch decided to take a shot at Harvick’s wife, Delana when another user estimated that Delana Harvick could defeat Angela in a race.

From here on out, Mike basically kept defending his decision to put up $50,000 to prove his wife’s talent.

These are many of the rebuttals Mike Ruch had for the people on social media that were in disbelief of the offer made by the Ruch’s, some of which may borderline on offensive to some people. Although, one thing we do know is Mike Ruch is very passionate about his wife’s racing career, and is willing to stand up for her when he needs too.

Additionally, keep in mind that this is not the first time that Angela Ruch and her husband Mike Ruch have been in the social media limelight. If you remember back to a few weeks ago, in the week between the season opener at Daytona and the trip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a tweet was sent from Angela Ruch’s account by husband Mike about comments that Parker Kligerman made over the approval process for NASCAR’s National Series.
