Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson has a date with the IndyCar Series once his full-time NASCAR Cup Series career comes to a close at the end of the 2020 season. However, Johnson was at Arrow McLaren SP on Wednesday getting fitted for a seat.

Johnson posted photos of the IndyCar he was sitting in.

But there’s more… Apparently, Johnson has already scheduled his first test with the team.

When a Twitter user questioned Johnson about the meaning of his photos of the IndyCar, Johnson quipped that Arrow McLaren SP was gracious enough to get him fitted for a seat for his upcoming test session at Barber Motorsports Park in April.

The seven-time NASCAR champion stepping into an IndyCar ride is becoming more real by the day.
