It may be NASCAR offseason, but that will not stop Kyle Larson from getting behind the wheel of a car and letting his competitive juices flow. Larson took home the win — and the super impressive trophy — in Wednesday night’s NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship Hangtown 100 race at Placerville Speedway.

Larson took home a total of $32,000 for his efforts in the event.

On Tuesday night, Larson’s shot at the Hangman 100 got off to a rough start. He had issues in the prelims and started 23rd in the Tuesday feature. However, he was able to claw his way to a fourth-place on Tuesday night, which put him in a position to be the overall points winner of the week.

Larson got the job done on Wednesday night.

Other former and current NASCAR drivers in the field included Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Rico Abreu and Christopher Bell. Overall, it was a star-studded lineup.
