Thursday, via a Twitter video, William Byron unveiled his throwback scheme for the upcoming Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
Byron will drive a No. 24 City Chevrolet car. If you recall, this was the paint scheme used by Cole Trickle in the movie Days of Thunder. Rick Hendrick, Byron’s car owner, provided cars for the film.

Byron and Chad Knaus may not be as great of actors as Tom Cruise, Randy Quaid and William Duval, but the video was pretty funny.
