Xfinity Series Race at Daytona Under Rain Delay

UPDATE: 9:17 PM ET – NASCAR has set the green flag time for tonight’s Xfinity Series race at 10:04 PM ET. Covers are off of the cars!


UPDATE: 9:00 PM ET – All reports are saying that track drying is going well and if things keep progressing this way, the race could go green around 9:50 PM ET. But no official start time has been announced yet.


UPDATE: 8:46 PM ET – NASCAR has set driver introductions for tonight’s Xfinity Series race at Daytona for 9:30 PM ET.


UPDATE: 8:26 PM ET – According to @NASCAR_WXman on Twitter, the storms are starting to move North of Daytona International Speedway. This means we should have a decent shot at seeing some racing this evening.


Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Circle K Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway has been delayed due to pesky rain in Florida.

Lightning caused Cup Series qualifying for Saturday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 to be cancelled earlier in the day.

We will monitor the situation and if the race has a scheduled time to go green this evening, or if it is postponed until tomorrow we will have you covered on where/how to watch the race.
