UPDATE 10:40 PM ET: At the 31 minute mark of the Dale Jr. Download Podcast, Truex officially announces that this diecast will be the official throwback Scheme for his No. 19 Toyota Camry at Darlington this season.

——————————-

Each week, on the Dale Jr. Download which is televised on NBCSN, the focal point of the show is a huge table that Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mike Davis sit at while recording the show.

On a sneak peek of this week’s show, we may have just received a preview of Martin Truex Jr.’s 2019 Bass Pro Shops Darlington Throwback scheme.

The scheme appears to be a throwback to Truex’s NASCAR Xfinity Series championships with Chance2 Motorsports, which was a team owned by Earnhardt and his stepmother Teresa Earnhardt.

If this does end up being Truex’s No. 19 car for Darlington, it’s kinda cool that Dale Jr. subliminally showcased it for us all a little early.

*H/T to Jeffrey Clukey of the Martin Truex Jr. fans group on Facebook for sharing this and to his brother Tyler Lefever for noticing it.
