Video: Kyle Busch Spins Off Turn 2 on Lap 14 at Auto Club

Kyle Busch spin Next Gen Auto Club Race
Kyle Busch went for a spin on lap 14 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway. Screengrab from FOX broadcast.

I don’t know how many people had Kyle Busch on their list of drivers that would have issues with the new, harder to drive, Next Gen car, but Busch became the first driver in trouble Sunday at Auto Club Speedway.

On lap 14 of the Wise Power 400, Busch got loose and spun around coming off of turn 2.

Fortunately, for Busch, he didn’t hit anything and the tires didn’t pop, so the underside of his car should be relatively undamaged. However, Busch would return to pit road with an overheating car before lap 40.
