Video: Joey Logano, Kyle Busch Receive Damage After Denny Hamlin Goes Three-Wide For Lead

Joey Logano had not made many friends through Stage 1 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as he had blocked several drivers. However, Logano found himself in the lead early in Stage 2.

With Kyle Busch closing in fast, Logano attempted to execute another block, but at the final moment bailed. This allowed Busch to the inside. However, the attempted block slowed Busch enough that Denny Hamlin also had a run.

Hamlin went to the inside of Busch heading into turn 3, which caused Busch and Logano to collide.

Logano would develop a tire rub and would have to head to pit road. Busch has stayed on the track and hopes to make it to his next pitstop without problems.
