What’s up with a caution before driver crosses finish line and no green white checker flag and they announce a winner?
Green white checkered finishes can only happen when there is a caution with two — or more — laps left.
Anytime there is a caution on the final lap, the field is frozen and the leader at the time is the winner of the race.
