NASCAR Cup Series racer Alex Bowman made some moves during his qualifier race in Tuesday’s preliminary night of action at the 37th annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

Driving for his own team this week in Tulsa, Bowman took the No. 55X machine up four positions at a  restart of the fourth qualifier race on Tuesday.

Bowman finished third after starting sixth. That finish gave the Arizona native enough passing points to start fourth in the Tuesday night A-Main.
