Officials with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Oxford Plains Speedway announced Tuesday evening that Kyle Busch and Daniel Hemric have declared their intent to enter the inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Tuesday, May 27.

“We are very excited about Kyle and Daniel returning to compete at Oxford this year,” said PASS president and Oxford Plains Speedway owner Tom Mayberry. “A lot of people in that group worked really hard to put this deal together. I think it’s going to be great for the fans and the competitors.”

Busch and Hemric both competed at Oxford Plains Speedway in the track’s inaugural Celebration of America 300 in 2024. Hemric finished 21st in that event, while a race-ending incident relegated Busch to a 24th-place result.

The Memorial Day Clash 200 will be the first leg of the Oxford Crown Jewel Triple Crown, followed by the Celebration of America 300 and the Oxford 250. Kneeland-Hopkins Promotions has sponsored the inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200, featuring a format unique to most PASS Super Late Model events.

Rather than exclusively using heat races to set the field for the event, the Memorial Day Clash 200 will feature time trials to lock in the front row for the main event, provided those two drivers run all the laps in their respective heat races. Heat race results will set the remainder of the 35-car field.

Busch won the Oxford 250 in 2011, the most prestigious event on the calendar each year at Oxford Plains Speedway. Hemric finished ninth in the 2013 edition of the Oxford 250. The 52nd Annual Oxford 250 takes place on August 22-24.
