While the NASCAR All-Star Race is the main attraction on Sunday, May 18 at North Wilkesboro Speedway, a massive schedule of racing awaits fans all weekend long at the historic short track.

Between the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, zMAX CARS Tour and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, racing starts on Thursday, May 15 and continues all the way until Sunday at North Wilkesboro. The All-Star weekend offers a marquee stage for some of short track racing’s most prestigious series.

It also provides an opportunity for several NASCAR drivers, past and present, to take part in the week of racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The stacked entry lists throughout all of the week’s racing includes many familiar names to NASCAR fans.

Before he takes part in the NASCAR All-Star Race, Josh Berry will compete in the zMAX CARS Tour’s Pro Late Model feature on Thursday, May 15. That race is one of two Late Model events during the month of May for Berry, driving for FatHead Racing.

Another former CARS Tour champion, Carson Kvapil, will compete in Friday’s Late Model Stock Car division event. Kvapil won the inaugural CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car event at North Wilkesboro in 2022 as part of the Racetrack Revival.

A pair of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series full-time competitors are also in Thursday’s Pro Late Model field. Kaden Honeycutt starts a busy weekend that includes both CARS Tour features as well as the Window World 250 for the Truck Series on Saturday. Dawson Sutton as part of the Rackley W.A.R. Late Model program ahead of Saturday’s Truck Series event.

Conner Jones’ return to the Craftsman Truck Series with Niece Motorsports will be part of a quadruple-duty weekend for the Virginia driver. He will compete in both CARS Tour features, Saturday’s Truck Series event, as well as Sunday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour contest. Jones is a former CARS Tour Late Model Stock winner at North Wilkesboro, but will be making his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour debut on Sunday.

Another NASCAR Cup Series competitor, Corey LaJoie, will be on track with both the CARS Tour and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. LaJoie will drive the Kevin Powell Speed Motorsports No. 12 in Friday’s zMAX CARS Tour Window World 100 for the Late Model Stock Cars, as well as the Gary Putnam-prepared No. 77 with the Whelen Modified Tour on Sunday.

Sunday’s Whelen Modified Tour event will also feature a pair of NASCAR Cup Series legends who have transitioned into the Modified world following their successful careers. 2008 Daytona 500 winner Ryan Newman and 2000 NASCAR Cup Series champion Bobby Labonte will both take part in Sunday’s FaithFest Evangelistic Ministries 150.

Keelan Harvick, son of former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, is also entered in Thursday’s zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model event. Harvick has made three CARS Tour starts this season, with a best finish of fifth at Cordele Motor Speedway.

Thursday’s CARS Tour Pro Late Model event, as well as Sunday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race, will be broadcast live on FloRacing. For the first time in series history, the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars will broadcast live on FS1 on Friday at 8:15 p.m.
