Corey Heim, who already has eight wins through the opening 20 races of the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, was the fastest driver in Friday afternoon’s practice session for Saturday’s Team EJP 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Heim turned a fast lap time of 29.799 seconds (127.816 mph), which allowed him to top Kaden Honeycutt by 0.086 seconds for the fastest time in the session.
Chandler Smith, Layne Riggs, and Ty Majeski rounded out the top-five drivers in the session. Grant Enfinger made it a clean sweep of the top six spots in the practice. Enfinger is working with his new crew chief, Michael Shelton, as his longtime crew chief, Jeff Stankiewicz, departed the team ahead of this weekend’s race.
The remainder of the Playoff drivers in the session: Rajah Caruth (10th), Jake Garcia (16th), Tyler Ankrum (17th), and Daniel Hemric (19th).
Patrick Emerling was 21st-fastest in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, which is notable as the No. 7 truck is alive in the Owner’s championship Playoffs.
