NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Buckle Up South Carolina 200 Practice Results (Darlington)

Kaden Honeycutt put down a blistering lap on a fresh set of Goodyear tires in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice from Darlingon Raceway, leading the session by a whopping quarter-second over second-place runner Ty Majeski.

Honeycutt, in his first race with crew chief Scott Zipadelli on top of the pit box after breaking his leg late in the off-season, posted a time of 29.459 seconds (166.930mph) to be quickest in practice in the No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage.

Ty Majeski was second, with defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Corey Heim in third-place, driving the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON. Tanner Gray and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top-10. Gio Ruggiero, Carson Hocevar, Layne Riggs, Connor Mosack, and William Sawalich had laps inside the top-10.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series had a 50-minute practice session on Friday, their first of such session in the season, leaving a lot of drivers with the opportunity to get lots of laps around one of the hardest racetracks on the circuit — and did it without anybody putting a scratch on their vehicle.

Qualifying is next.
