2025 NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Starting Lineup

William Byron, who likely needs a win in Sunday’s Xfinity 500 at Martinsville if he hopes to compete for a championship next weekend at Phoenix Raceway, was able to get it done in Saturday’s qualifying session at the 0.526-mile short track as he claimed the pole position.

The driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet turned a lap time of 19.286-second (98.185 mph) in the session, which secured Byron his first career Martinsville pole by 0.002 seconds over Ty Gibbs, who will start second.

Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top-five fastest qualifiers in the qualifying session.
