When the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to Richmond Raceway, Spencer Boyd will have a returning sponsor on board his No. 12 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, in the form of WML Demolition and Contracting.

WML Demolition and Contracting is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that offers full-service demolition to commercial customers, government and military contracts, homeowners, and residential builders.

For the second consecutive season, the Sterling, Virginia-based company returns as a primary sponsor at their home track of Richmond Raceway, after backing Boyd in the 2021 edition of the Toyota Care 250, where he finished 27th.

“The new paint on this year’s WML truck is sick!” Boyd said. “They wanted something that would stand out, scream demolition, and I think we have delivered. Richmond is my favorite track and promoting Veteran owned businesses is something I’m passionate about, so we have a great combination for this race and partnership.”

WML is named for the founder’s grandfather, who was a police officer, volunteer firefighter, businessman, and father of four.

“He’s one of us,” said Corey Lockhart, Founder of WML. “He busts his ass day in and day out just like us. When I call him, he picks up the phone. That is the kind of person we want representing our brand.”

Furthermore, Lockhart adds that the opportunity to bring people to the race track is a good way to build relationships, as well as show appreciation to those that have made WML’s successes possible.

“We love the access” Lockhart added. “I get to entertain people at the track and get so close to the action. In my business, relationships are key and this is a great way to show appreciation to people that have helped WML along the way.”

Entering Richmond, Spencer Boyd currently sits 28th in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points, having achieved a season-best finish of 11th-place in the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway.
