Video: Deegan Has Heated Confrontation With Lawless Alan After Frustrating Night at Martinsville

Hailie Deegan was frustrated by many in Thursday night’s Truck Series race at Martinsville and she tore into Lawless Alan after the race in a dispute on pit road.

Hailie Deegan ended up scoring a 19th-place finish in Thursday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway, but she was none too pleased with Lawless Alan following the conclusion of the 200-lap event.

After the race, Deegan and Alan got into a heated conversation on pit road. Deegan barely edged out Alan, who finished 20th.

It was a frustrating night for Deegan, the driver of the No. 1 David Gilliland Racing Ford F-150.

On lap 33, Deegan was slammed into the outside wall by Johnny Sauter, who was driving the No. 13 ThorSport Racing machine in his second start of the season.

Here was the incident between Sauter and Deegan:

The 20-year old Deegan would air her frustrations with the former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion on the team radio.

“I wish everyone would use their head in the Truck Series,” Deegan exclaimed.

That communication caused her team to shoot back with, “Johnny Sauter ain’t ever used his fucking head.”

After cooler heads prevailed, Deegan settled in and ran solidly inside the top-15 toward the end portions of the race, until the action got chippy again towards the end.

After the race, Sauter took blame for the incident and called it a mistake on his part.
